Nanã is revered in two worlds, one of life and one of death. The history says that when Oxalá was in charge of making the world and to model the human being, was saved by Nanã, who gave him the pond bottom mud, his home address.
In Brazil, Nanã is é Sant’Ana in the fusion of different religions.
