The 7th of September holiday is coming, and here at the Pousada Solar dos Deuses we prepared an exclusive itinerary for you to enjoy your stay in Salvador. In addition we will be offering on our site a special offer for those dates. Check out!

This itinerary was inspired by the parade route that takes place every year on Av. Sete de Setembro, from Campo Grande to Castro Alves Square.

At Pelourinho, take a taxi to Campo Grande. Upon arrival, enjoy the beautiful Dois de Julho Square, with the Caboclo monument and two important cultural centers of the city: the Castro Alves Theater and the Vila Velha Theater, with its vast garden of the Public Promenade.

Following our itinerary, enjoy a beautiful walk along the Corredor da Vitória, a noble area of the city center with its centenary trees, which has several museums. Among them, the renowned Museum Carlos Costa Pinto, a mansion that displays a historical collection of jewels, art, pieces in silver and furniture. Another museum on this avenue is the Bahia Museum of Art, the oldest museum in Bahia and one of the first 10 founded in Brazil, which has approximately 5000 works of great historical and artistic value.

At the end of Corredor da Vitoria, you arrive at Ladeira da Barra, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Bay of All Saints, descending towards the beach of Porto da Barra, located at the bottomof the Ladeira. Be sure to visit the Carybé das Artes and Pierre Verger da Fotografia spaces, located in the forts of São Diogo and Santa Maria, located near Porto da Barra.

And finally it's time to take a walk along the shore to the Barra Lighthouse, and from there to enjoy another incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean, the Bay of All Saints and the Island of Itaparica.
